Reporters from the outlet obtained documents that showed French tech regulator Commission Nationale de I’informatique et Des Libertés (CNIL) is planning to fine Google 150 million euros and Facebook 60 million euros for violating French data privacy rules. CNIL says in the document that both companies will be fined another 100,000 euros per day if they do not resolve the issues within three months of the decision being issued. Non-GAAP net loss per share came to 15 cents. ARR for Q3 was $237 million, a 131% year-over-year increase. Analysts were expecting a loss per share of 18 cents on revenue of $49.58 million. The UK-Singapore Digital Economy Agreement (UKSDEA) would make it easier to do business digitally between both countries, according to a joint statement issued Monday by Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Communications and Information, and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). “This will include establishing forward-looking rules to enable trusted cross-border data flows, prohibit data localisation, and ensure high standards in data protection,” the government agencies said. They added that the pact would allow for “seamless” digital trade and business through “interoperable digital systems”, linking the ecosystems of both markets....
